What should I work on?
If you have 90 minutes, add some citations to an article in your area of expertise.
If you have 2 hours, add a well cited paragraph to an article in your area of expertise.
If you have 2-4 hours, consider creating a new article. Be sure to gather your reliable sources and check in with an experienced Wikipedian to ensure that your article meets Wikipedia’s notability guidelines.
What if I have questions?
There will be volunteers on hand at the Project Continua blog page during the event to field your questions about Wikipedia and research. Ask us for help!
Documentation.
It is vital that we record our accomplishments for the day. Don’t forget to add your completed edits you worked on to the meetup page here.
Take images of yourself and/or your surroundings as you work and post them to Wikipedia here. Remember to tag them with #projectcontinua #femalebiography and #ArtAndFeminism
Good Morning Everyone! and Happy International Women’s Day! We’re looking forward to seeing you all, right here, at 1pm for the Edit-a-thon.
Welcome All! and thank you for helping us make history! Please remember to check in to the Biography Progress Spreadsheet in Google Docs before you begin to make certain you are the only one of us working on a particular subject at one time. Add your name where appropriate and update the doc with your progress. Happy Editing!
